In his younger days, Vic was known as a bit of a goon but over time he concentrated more on scoring than on fighting. Hadfield was part of the Rangers famous GAG line (“goal a game”). Hadfield’s best season was 1971-72. Named the team’s captain, he became the first Ranger - and only the sixth NHL player - to score 50 goals in a season, on his way to the Stanley Cup Finals. Inside the back left tail is a size “48” tag. Sans Cosby tag but outlines from it are still present. Team name “RANGERS” is done diagonally across the front, team Captain “C” on the left breast and player number “11” on the back - all done in Ranger blue on red tackle twill. Player number “11” is also done in blue tackle twill on the sleeves. Hadfield autographed the jersey in black marker below the “C”, in our opinion rating an 8. The jersey is full of use, with team repairs, unrepaired holes, stick marks and staining. Sans Cosby tag in the tail, outline still present. This jersey is properly marked, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA.
