Defensive end Lawrence Edward "Tody smith" attended USC where he was named All-American in his junior year, 1969. Smith was the Dallas Cowboys number one choice. In the neck of the jersey is the "Southland" label and below this is the size tag "50L." On the back of the shirt is a white nameplate with the name "Smith." The player number "85" appears on the front, back and on each sleeve of the jersey. The letters and numbers are made of blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
