Baseball's all-time strikeout leader and author of a major league record seven no-hitters, Nolan Ryan is in many ways the most remarkable pitcher ever to play the game. At the age of 42, Ryan was still overwhelming hitters with a 95 mph fastball, reached the unbelievable milestone of 5,000 strikeouts. In 1993, his final season in the majors, Ryan exited with an incredible array of accomplishments. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Goodman" label and size "46." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Astros" in blue ironed-on letters and on the back is a white nameplate with the name "Ryan" in blue tackle twill. On the left breast is the Astros "Star" and on the back is the player number "34" in blue on white tackle twill. There is an autograph on the back of the shirt. The autograph rates a near 10. Included with the uniform are pants from the 1984 season. Inside the waistband is the "Goodman" label which includes the size, "34." Next to this is a white label reading "Ryan 34-35 Set 2 ‘84" which has been done in blue embroidered stitch. The numbers denote the waist size, set number, inseam and year, respectively. The jersey and pants show good game-use.
