Larry Bird was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1998 and again in 2010 as a member of the 1992 USA Men’s Olympic Basketball Team known as the "Dream Team". He was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team in 1996. Bird’s shirts for the first two seasons with the Celtics sported a "T" in Celtics that was very close the the neck trim such as in this example. On the front left tail is a “Sand-Knit” manufacturer's tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the BOSTON CELTICS. Below is another “Sand-Knit” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads “CELTICS”. Player number “33” appears on the front and on the back. Across the back reads player name “BIRD”. All numbering and lettering are done in the same white tackle twill sewn directly onto the green jersey. This jersey was presented to us as team-issued.
