Connie Hawkins was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1992. He was named to the ABA’s All-Time Team. In 1968, Hawkins won the ABA MVP, ABA Playoffs MVP and the ABA Championship. He was a four-time NBA All-Star and his No. 42 is retired by the Phoenix Suns. On the front center tail is heavily-faded “Tiernan” manufacturer’s tag. Across the front reads “LAKERS” in yellow on white tackle twill. Player number “42” appears on the front and on the back in white on yellow tackle twill. Across the back reads player name “HAWKINS” in yellow on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the purple mesh jersey. The jersey shows extensive laundering and is slightly faded. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
