Elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980, Duke Snider won two World Series championships with the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers and was an eight-time All-Star selection. Between 1953-1956, Snider averaged 42 home runs, 124 RBI, 123 runs and a .320 batting average. This Hillerich & Bradsby manufactured bat measures 34 inches and weighs 33 ounces. The bat shows heavy use with ball and stitch marks, cleat marks and a handle crack that has been repaired. The tape on the handle has been removed with a faint outline visible. Snider’s player number “4” is handwritten on the knob in heavily faded marker. Snider signed the barrel in silver marker and in our opinion rates a 7. Accompanied by a MEARS LOA grading the bat an A8 and a PSA/DNA COA for the signature.
