Frank Frisch spent 19 years in the Major Leagues and during that time was a member of eight pennant winning teams, hit .300 for 11 consecutive seasons, played in three All-Star games, and was the 1931 National League MVP. As a player/manager he was one of St. Louis's most beloved personalities leading their "gashouse gang" to four World Series. These pants were worn by Frisch around the 1935 season. In the waist is the "Rawlings" size tag with a handwritten notation "36 24." Adjacent to this is the felt tag reading "Frisch" in red chain stitch. The pants show nice use.
