On the front left tail is the “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” manufacturer’s tag with size “48” and wash instructions. Across the front reads “Orioles” in black on orange tackle twill. Adjacent below is the player number “8” in orange on black tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Baltimore “Oriole” logo embroidered in orange and black on white tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the Russell “R” logo embroidered in black. Across the back is the player name “RIPKEN” on a white nameplate. Adjacent below is the player number “8”. Both are done in the same black on orange tackle twill. Ripken has signed the rear tail of the jersey in black marker, in our opinion the signature rates a 7.
