This 4 x 6" black & white photo autographed in black ink by "The Bambino". The image is of Ruth on the field in uniform, signing a ball for one of his beloved fans. The photo is inscribed "To Caruso, from Babe Ruth, 8-14-30." Although the autograph is that of Babe Ruth the inscription was added at a later date in another hand. The signature grades a 5/6. The photo grades G/VG with some wrinkles and few touches of paper loss. One wrinkle goes through the 'a' in Babe. Overall, the image and signature is not affected by these flaws. Framed and matted.
