George Sauer and Don Maynard were the key recipients to Joe Namath's aerial attack that took the Jets to the historic Super Bowl III championship. This lot contains George Sauer Jr.'s AFL contract with the Jets in 1967. The contract is signed by Head Coach and GM Weeb Ewbank and Sauer in black pen, both signatures rating 6. The two sheets of the contract are double-matted and framed. In the center of the 15-1/4" x 32-1/4" piece between the two sheets is a b&w autographed photo of Sauer. His black Sharpie signature rates a strong 8.
