Alex Rodriguez is considered one of the best all-around baseball players of all time. He is the youngest player ever to hit 500 home runs, breaking the record Jimmie Foxx set in 1939, and the youngest to hit 600, besting Babe Ruth's record by over a year. Rodriguez has fourteen 100-RBI seasons in his career, more than any player in history. A-Rod is a fourteen-time All-Star, ten-time Silver Slugger Award winner, three-time AL MVP and in 2009, won his first World Championship as a member of the NY Yankees. On July 25, 2010, A-Rod went 2 for 4 with three RBI’s in a 12-6 victory over the KC Royals at the Stadium. On the left front tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with MLB (FJ 191024) and Steiner (146652) hologram stickers affixed. Attached are four flag tags, “2010”, “48”, “Taper” and “+1” body” indicating jersey year, size and alterations, respectively. Both the left and right seams of the shirt have been taken in/tapered and rehemmed. On the left breast is the team interlocking “NY” logo done in navy blue tackle twill. Directly above is the “GMS The Boss” George Steinbrenner memorial patch worn over the heart. On back is player number “13” done in navy blue tackle twill. At the back of the neck is the official MLB embroidered logo patch. On the right sleeve is the “Bob Sheppard” memorial patch with adjacent Ralph Houk black memorial armband. The jersey shows game-use with and except for the custom sides appears to have no further alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Yankees-Steiner as well as what appears to be a photomatch of A-Rod wearing this shirt.
