Hall of Famer and Yankee Captain Derek Jeter wore this jersey on June 3rd, 2012 in a 5-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers. Jeter led off the scoring by hitting an opposite field leadoff home run in the top of the 1st inning against ace Justin Verlander. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag with two attached tags reading the year “2012” and the size “48”. Affixed is a MLB hologram serial number “EK226771” and a Steiner hologram “195039”. Below is a Yankee inventory barcode. Across the front reads “NEW YORK” and on the back is the player number “2”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
