Gaylord Perry did not become a star in his own right until 1966. By August of that year he had an incredible 20-2 record. He is the only pitcher to win the Cy Young Award in both leagues. On the left front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" label and size "46" and adjacent is the flag tag reading "Set 1 1982." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Mariners" in blue on gold tackle twill and on the back is a white nameplate with the name "Perry" in blue tackle twill. The player number "36" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the shirt. The numbers are made of blue on gold tackle twill. There is an inscription on the right front of the shirt reading "Best Wishes Gaylord Perry #301 5-26-82." This jersey was worn on May 26, 1982 when Perry had his 301st win. The autograph rates a solid 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
