Hall of Famer David “Big Papi” Ortiz won 3 World Series Championships and a World Series MVP with the Boston Red Sox. Ortiz wore this jersey on April 30th, 2016 against the rival Yankees in an 8-0 shutout victory. Ortiz went 2-3 in the game including a home run in the 7th inning. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag size “50” with an MLB hologram “JB092649” and a Fanatics hologram “ZZ0020022. Across the front reads “RED SOX” and on the back is the player number “34” in red on navy blue tackle twill. Ortiz signed the back of the jersey in silver marker with the added inscription partially reading “Final Season Game Used 4/30/16 vs Yankees” and in our opinion rates an 8. Also included is his game-used size “7 3-4” cap with MLB and Fanatics holograms signed on the bill in silver and a pair of game-used Marucci batting gloves autographed in silver with MLB and Fanatics holograms.
