On 4/22/1992 the Detroit Tigers defeated the Texas Rangers to place Anderson tied for seventh all-time in managerial wins. On 4/23/1992, the Tigers defeated the Rangers again to put Anderson in the seventh spot alone. Both baseballs are “Rawlings” OAL baseballs. Both are signed by Anderson on the sweet spot in pen. One is inscribed, “WIN No. 1926 12-8, 4-22-92 at Texas Ties Casey Stengel For 7th Place” and the other reads, “4/23/92 WIN No. 1927 PASS CASEY STENGEL INTO 7TH PLACE”. In our opinion, both signatures rate a 9 overall. The baseballs are in VG-EX condition overall. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an Anderson family LOA.
