Giancarlo Stanton had a historic season in 2017 becoming just the sixth player ever to hit at least 59 home runs in a season and the first to accomplish the feat since 2001. Stanton led all of baseball in home runs and RBI’s (132). This jersey was worn by Stanton on April 12th, a 5-4 victory over the Atlanta Braves. Stanton finished the game 2-3 and hit his first two home runs of the season, both two run blasts to left field. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag size “46”. Adjacent above is a “MLB” hologram serial number “JB624842”. On the left inseam are two flag tags; one reading “+1” body” and the other reading “100% POLYESTER” with washing instructions. On the bottom right flap is a Majestic Authentic barcode tag size “46 +1 B” and year “2017”. On the left sleeve is a Marlins “M” team logo patch and below is a “Majestic” logo embroidered. On the right sleeve is the “2017 MLB ALL-STAR GAME” patch. On the upper left chest is a black patch with the number “16” embroidered on it in white to commemorate the late pitcher Jose Fernandez. Across the chest reads “MIAMI” done in Marlins team colors. On the back collar is the official “MLB” logo patch. Across the back reads the player name “STANTON” in black on silver tackle twill sewn directly into the jersey. Below is the player number “27” done in black on orange on silver tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from Photo-Match.com confirming the match.
