Manuf: Marucci, Model Number: AP5-LDM Custom Cut, Length: 34 in., Weight: 32.6 oz., Wood: Maple with a Black/Natural finish, Labeling Period: 2012, Condition: Handle crack with excellent use. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers on the right and back barrel. Cleat impressions can be seen on all sides of the barrel. Also visible on the bat is an impression from a weighted batting donut. There is a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle and a heavy coat of Mota stick on the lower handle. The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking, per Major League Baseball, for all maple bats since January 2009. The date of manufacture (05/29/12), the length (4), the weight (2.0) and Pujols’ No. 5 (5) is stamped into the knob. Pujols signed the barrel in a black colored pen with the added inscription, “Game Used 12” and in our opinion rates a 7 overall. Adjacent to the knob is PSA/DNA sticker, “1B04256” and on the knob is MLB hologram sticker, “EK323958”. This bat was presented to us as game-used and the LOA from PSA/DNA grades it a GU 9.5.
