Nicknamed "Superman", Dwight Howard had an outstanding high school career at Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy. He chose to forgo college and entered the 2004 NBA Draft, and was selected first overall by the Magic. A three-time All-Star, three-time All-NBA team selection, two-time All-Defensive member, and the 2009 Defensive Player of the Year, Howard has been ranked consistently as one of the best in the league in field goal percentage and rebounds, and has set numerous league records. He has led the Magic to two division titles and one conference title, and he was the winner of the 2008 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. In the 2008 Olympics, he was the starting center for Team USA, which went on to win the gold medal. On the front tail of the jersey is the "NIKE" manufacturer’s size “XXL” tag with the “USA BASKETBALL” and “UNITED WE RISE” logos. Attached to that is an additional manufacturers tag with "LENGTH +6" on it. Above this is “GAMES OF THE XXIX OLYMPIAD” embroidered in gold. In the back collar is the “NIKE” manufacturer’s “3XL” wash tag. Across the front is "USA" in red on grey on white triple tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "11" in blue on grey tackle twill. Across the back is player name "HOWARD" in white on grey tackle twill. On the left breast is the official "USA" flag patch. On the right breast is the "NIKE" embroidered logo in blue. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
