Hall of Famer and captain of the New York Yankees Derek Jeter was AL Rookie of the Year in 1996, All-Star Game MVP and World Series MVP in 2000. Jeter used this bat on April 15th, 2007 against the Oakland A’s on Jackie Robinson day. Louisville Slugger manufactured P72 model bat that measures 34 inches and weighs 31.1 ounces. The ash wood bat with a black finish is uncracked and shows outstanding use. Numerous ball marks are visible throughout the barrel as well as a ring from a weighted batting donut. There is a heavy coating of Mota Stick on the handle. Jeter signed the front barrel in silver marker and in our opinion rates a near 9. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA grading the bat a perfect GU 10, a Photo-Match.com LOA, a Jeter LOA, Steiner COA and an ALOA from JSA.
