Brett Favre won three consecutive NFL MVP awards from 1995 through 1997. The third and final MVP award came during his final season as a Green Bay Packers, where the led the NFL in passing touchdowns with 28 and set the then all-time passing touchdowns record in the process. Favre was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016 and has his No. 4 retired by the Packers franchise. On the right inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. On the inside below the collar is a strip tag with “07-50” printed on it. On the v-neck is the official “NFL EQUIPMENT” shield logo embroidered. The player number “4” appears on the front, on the back and on both shoulders. Across the back reads the player name, “FAVRE” on a white nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in green tackle twill. Below the player number on each sleeve is a Reebok logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as a game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. This jersey has identical specs to that of the documented photo-matched Favre jersey which is also in this auction. Accompanied by a copy of a LOA from teammate Bubba Franks, who played eight seasons with the Packers from 2000-07. The details of the letter state that the items included in the set are a helmet, jersey and cleats. It appears that the set was broken up and sold individually. We believe that the helmet included the original letter.
