Ken Griffey Jr. has the sixth-most home runs in MLB history and has the sweetest swing. The 13-time All-Star won seven Silver Slugger Awards and 10 Gold Glove Awards. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016, Griffey Jr. recorded the highest vote percentage, breaking Tom Seaver’s record. On the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with a size “48” flag tag attached below. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. On the left chest is the team’s, “REDS” logo, the player number “3” appears on the right chest and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “GRIFFEY”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on white on black triple tackle twill sewn directly onto the white pinstripe vest. Griffey signed the back player number in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. This jersey is void of the typically seen "Property Of Cincinnati Reds" tag and was likely a custom order for Griffey who was known to order extra shirts and trade them with players. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows light use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and a copy of source documentation from Tom Glavine’s brother in law.
