Roger Clemens helped lead the Houston Astros to their first ever World Series in 2005. The manufacturers tag has been removed from the front left tail, a trait commonly seen in Clemens game-used jerseys as per player comfort, but the outline remains. Handwritten in the rear collar is the player number “22” in black marker. On the left inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials, washing instructions and the code “0062”. Across the chest reads “Houston” in script style writing done in orange on tan on black chenille. There is a velcro fastener between the second and third buttons. Adjacent below is the player number “22” in black tackle twill. Across the back on a grey nameplate is the player name “CLEMENS” and beneath is the player number “22”. These are done in orange on tan on black tackle twill. On the left sleeve is an Astros team logo patch above a “Majestic logo” and on the back collar is an official “MLB” logo. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
