The first player to ever be inducted into the Hall of Fame unanimously, Mariano Rivera won five World Series Championships and was the World Series MVP in 1999. He also holds the MLB record for saves. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturers tag with washing instructions. Attached are two flag tags reading “46 100% POLYESTER” and “+2” EXTRA LENGTH” and a strip tag reading “2003”. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK” and across the back is the player number “42”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Yankees “100th ANNIVERSARY 1903 2003” patch. On the back collar is an official MLB logo patch. Inside the rear waistband of the pants is the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag size “37” with washing instructions. Attached are two flag tags reading “100% POLYESTER -2” IN WAIST H-CUT” and “-1” TAPER LEG”. Adjacent is a strip tag reading “RIVERA-35/39-34-03” with the player number “42” handwritten beneath in black marker. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Steiner holograms are present however the LOA has been misplaced.
