This first base was used on May 26th, 2002 at Fenway Park in a game between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. The 2002 season marked the 90th anniversary of the historic Fenway Park. On the bottom of the base reads “1st*” in black marker on two of the corners and an attention and warning label. Also on the bottom reads the manufactured date “2001” “MADE IN TAIWAN MLBP” and a MLB hologram serial number “MT00001404”. On the top of the base reads, “Original HOLLYWOOD BASE JACK CORBETT” and “SCHUTT SPORTS”. Below is the official MLB logo. On two sides of the base is the “FENWAY PARK 90th ANNIVERSARY” logo. On one of the other two sides is the official MLB logo done in red, white, and blue with the United States flag stars and stripes, and on the final side reads “RED SOX”. This base shows considerably dirt staining on the top and sides. This base was presented to us as game-used.
