Wang Zhizhi was the first Chinese player to play in the National Basketball Association. Zhizhi wore this jersey on January 2nd, 2003 against the Dallas Mavericks. Zhizhi scored 6 points and grabbed 3 rebounds in the contest. On the left front tail is the “Reebok” manufacturer’s tag with three attached flag tags: “+4 LENGTH”, “2002-2003” and the size “54”. On the left inseam are three flag tags, one with washing instructions, one with jersey materials and “MADE IN USA”. Across the front says “Clippers” in white on blue tackle twill. Above is an “LAC” logo patch on the v-neck collar. The player number “16” appears on the front and back in the same tackle twill. The player name “WANG” is across the back in white tackle twill. Signed on the back inside the player number “6” in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 7. Mild staining is seen on the back player “1”. The upper left chest has an official “NBA” embroidered logo. Sourced from an assistant coach, this jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a JSA COA.
