This remarkable runs consists of 41 game-worn hats and represents virtually every player that took the field with the New York Mets during the 2001 season: managers, coaches, and just about every one else who would have worn a uniform. Included are Valentine (manager), Piazza, Shinjo, Odonez, Relaford, Wilson (Mookie and Vance), Perez, Stearns, Alfonso, Appier, Johnson, Jones, Lawton, Phillips, Cook, Toca, Chen, Payton, McEwing, Rusch, Benitez, and more. The hats were manufactured by New Era and have the manufacturers label as well as the size and "Authentic Collection" tags. Each one has player number written in black marker on the inside. On the front of each is the Mets logo and on the back is the Major League logo. A Mets fan's dream.
