In just ten seasons in the majors, Mike Piazza has established himself as one of the greatest catchers that the game of baseball has ever seen. A nine time All Star, he made a splash in 1993 by taking home Rookie of the Year honors hitting .318 with 25 homeruns and 112 runs batted in. Eight years later, he is now a key member of the NY Mets ball club, leading them to the postseason twice. This Mizuno MP model bat was used by Mike during the 2001 season. It is a 34.5 inch, 32 ounce full name block letter bat that shows heavy use with a light coat of pine tar on the handle. His jersey number "31" is written on both ends in marker. Piazza signed the barrel in black marker with a nearly perfect signature. The combination of heavy use and the fact that he has signed the bat (a rarity for Piazza) make this one of the best Piazza gamers in the hobby.
