Darrell Green is one of the fastest players the NFL has ever seen, consistently dominating the NFL's Fastest Player competition and winning a World's Fastest Athlete event in 1991. Green wore this home maroon mesh jersey during the 2001 season, when he was still a defensive threat as a 41-year-old cornerback. On the left front tail is the "Adidas" manufacturer's tag with the size tag "42" and the year tag "01." On the neck is the "NFL" patch and on each sleeve is an embroidered "Adidas" logo. The wash tag is inside the left tail and has the size "42." A maroon nylon nameplate is sewn across the back of the jersey with the player name "Green" in white tackle twill. The player number "28" is on the front, back, and on both sleeves of the jersey in white on yellow tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
