Tim starting playing basketball as a 6'2" high school freshman. A couple of years and 8 inches later, Tim was holding his own against Alonzo Mourning. He was drafted first in the 1997 NBA draft by the Spurs and had a brilliant rookie season, winning "Rookie of the Year" honors. Tim was named MVP of the 1999 NBA finals and helped his team to win its first NBA title ever. On the left front tail is the "San Antonio Spurs" label and next to this is the "Nike" label with the size "54." Adjacent is the "NBA Authentics" label. Below the Nike label is the "Length +4" label. On the inside lower left is the wash tag and under this is the year tag "2000-01." Across the front of the shirt is the name "Spurs" in black on silver tackle twill and on the back is the name "Duncan" in black tackle twill. The player number "21" appears on both the front and back of the shirt. The numbers are made of black on silver tackle twill. On the upper left front is the "NBA" patch and on the front number "2" is an autograph rating a 7-8. The shoes were manufactured by "Nike." Inside the shoes is the size tag, "16." The player number "21" is written on the bottom of each shoe in black marker. The jersey and shoes show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
