On the inside back headband of the cap is the New Era manufacturer’s tag. To the right of that is an additional manufacturer’s tag with the cap size "7 1/8" and washing instructions. Adjacent to the left is a "Diamond Collection" tag. On the underside of the bill of the cap is "9/20/98 VS COL #2922" in black felt pen. On the buckram of the cap is the player number "19" written in black marker. On the front of the cap is the official Padres "SD" team logo. On the outside back of the cap is the official "MLB" logo. Gwynn signed the bill of the cap in silver marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 7. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a PSA/DNA LOA.
