Randy Johnson was voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015 on the first ballot and led the league in strikeouts nine times. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag size “48” with washing instructions. Attached below are two flag tags reading “100% POLYESTER” and “3” EXTRA BODY LENGTH”. Adjacent below is a strip tag with the year “1998” on it which appears to be restitched. On the left sleeve is the team’s, “SEATTLE MARINERS” logo disc patch and on the right sleeve is a “Russell Athletic” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads, “SEATTLE” in navy blue on northwest green on white triple tackle twill. The player number “51” appears on the back and across the back reads the player name, “JOHNSON” on a grey nameplate. These are done in navy blue on northwest green tackle twill. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo patch. Johnson signed the back of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “1998 GAME USED” and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA.
