It didn’t take long for Hideo Nomo to establish himself in the MLB. In his rookie season in 1995 he led the league in strikeouts, started the all-star game, and won the Rookie Of The Year Award while finishing 4th in Cy Young voting. On the inside back tail of this home knit pinstripe jersey is the "AIS" label and below is a hanging flag tag with the size "50". Across the front of the jersey is the name "Mets" and the number “16” both done in glacier on orange tackle twill with white trim. On the left sleeve is the official Mets team “Skyline” logo patch sewn. On the back is the name "NOMO" and the player number "16" also in glacier on orange tackle twill with white trim. Nomo signed on the front underneath Mets as well as on the back under the name Nomo, and in our opinion rates as a 7 and 8 respectively. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
