One of the best first baseman to ever play the game, Eddie Murray was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003. Murray is a member of one of the more elite clubs baseball has to offer, as he is one of only five players to have more than 3,000 hits and 500 home runs. Murray won a World Series championship in 1983 and has his No. 33 retired by the Baltimore Orioles. On the inside of the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached are two flag tags that read, “100% POLYESTER” and “1997” respectively. Across the chest reads, “Dodgers”, across the back reads the player name “MURRAY” and below is the player number “33”. These are done in blue on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. On the front is the player number “33” in red tackle twill. On the right sleeve is a Russell Athletic logo embroidered and on the left sleeve is a “DODGERS - Jackie Robinson - 1947 1997 50th ANNIVERSARY” patch. Below the back player number, Murray signed the jersey in blue pen and in our opinion rates a 9 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
