Hall of Famer Robert Parish played in more games than any other player in NBA history. A 7'1" center who combined strength, agility, and remarkable endurance, Parish was a three-time NBA Champion with Boston Celtics in the 1980s prior to joining the Bulls before the 1996-97 season. Michael Jordan and the Bulls had been busy stockpiling rings of their own in the 1990s, taking home four Championships in six seasons. The 1996-97 Bulls cruised through the regular season with a record of 69-13, one victory shy of becoming the first NBA team with back-to-back 70-win seasons. The postseason was no different, the Bulls swept Washington in the first round, and won the next two series against Atlanta and Miami in five games. The Finals would feature a matchup with the Utah Jazz, led by Hall of Famers Karl Malone, John Stockton. The Bulls narrowly escaped Game 1 with an 84-82 victory thanks to a 20-foot buzzer beater by Jordan in the waning seconds of the game. The Bulls dominated Game 2, winning by a margin of 12 before dropping next two games to Utah. Game 5, what would come to be known as “The Flu Game”, featured a weak, exhausted Jordan that still managed to rack up 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. Jordan, still recovering, put up an impressive 39 points in Game 6, securing Chicago’s fifth championship and set the Bulls up to bring home their second “three-peat” the following season. Game 6 would prove to be final game of Parish’s career, ending an unbelievable run of 1,611 games in 21 seasons. He would go on to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003. This size 12.5, 14k gold player’s ring weighs 58 grams. The face of the ring features approximately 1.5 carats in the shape of the Bulls logo with a large .75-carat princess cut diamond in the center and two marquis cut diamonds making up the eyes. The rest of the face is made up of approximately .50 carats of round-cut diamonds. The left panel features the player name “PARISH” and a casted image of five Larry O’Brien Championship Trophys above the player number “00”. The right panel reads “WORLD CHAMPIONS”, “TEAM OF THE DECADE” above a casted image of the United Center and the official NBA logo and “96-97”. The inside of the ring is stamped “©14K”. The ring is in MINT condition and comes with a LOA from Robert Parish.
