In 1997, Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. led the Seattle Mariners to a division championship and captured the American League Most Valuable Player Award, hitting .304, with 56 home runs and 147 RBIs. On the inside of the shell is the American Baseball Cap manufacturer’s sticker size “7 1-4”. The date clock inside the shell shows the helmet was manufactured in April of 1997. Across the front is the Mariners team logo decal and on the back is the “ABC” manufacturer’s logo, an “MLB” logo and the player number “24” decals. Griffey signed the bill of the helmet in silver marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used attributed to Ken Griffey Jr. and shows use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
