Future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan began his NBA career during the 1997-98 season where he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year and named to the NBA All-Rookie first team. Other notable achievements include: Fifteen-time All-Star, ten-time All-NBA first team, eight-time All-Defensive first team, five-time NBA Champion and three-time NBA Finals MVP. On the front left tail is the Nike manufacturer’s tag size “50” and an attached flag tag reading “LENGTH +4”. On the left inseam are two tags, one reading “100% POLYESTER” with wash instructions and another reading the year “1997-98”. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the front reads “SPURS” with the “U” as a “Spurs” logo in white on black on grey tackle twill. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “21” in white on grey tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “DUNCAN” in white tackle twill. Duncan signed the front of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. In the rear waistband of the shorts is the Nike manufacturers tag size “46” with three attached flag tags reading “INSEAM +3”, “100% POLYESTER” with washing instructions and a year tag reading “1997-98”. Handwritten on this tag is the player number “21” in period faded black marker. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
