Hank Aaron and Willie Mays are two of baseball's greatest players, and Eddie Murray has earned his place among them by becoming the only other player to hit 500 home runs and amass 3,000 hits. Murray wore this black alternate jersey in 1996 while playing for the Orioles, the same team with which he began his storied career as the 1977 AL Rookie of the Year. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic Diamond Collection" manufacturer's tag with the size "48" and below it is the year tag "1996." The team name "Orioles" is sewn across the front of the jersey in script-style letters and the player number "33" appears on the left breast and the back of the jersey. The "Oriole" patch appear on the left sleeve. On the back of the jersey is a black nameplate with the player name "Murray." All of the letters and numbers are made of orange on black and white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
