There is Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Tom Brady and of course, Wayne Gretzky. JOFA helmet with ‘234 51’ stamped below the maker's mark on the suspension. NYR stickers (with heavy wear) on the sides were applied over other stickers, which are visible on the edges. NEW YORK RANGERS stickers flank the back. VM on the back. The left ear strap is undone but still attached from the chinstrap. Gretyzky has signed the top in gold marker, in our opinion rating a 6. Wayne’s felt insert remains in place at the back of the intact inner padding of this crack-free helmet. Ear loops have detached from age. This helmet is properly marked, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by a MeiGray COA as well as an additional LOA which states in part that it was obtained by Wayne’s brother in law. Originally sold via Classic Auctions back in 2012 and listed as matched but we are unable to confirm. Also accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
