As the owner and Chairman of the Chicago Bulls since 1985, Jerry Reinsdorf has turned the franchise into a lucrative business that won six World Championships in the 1990s (1991–1993 and 1996–1998). He is controversial for his involvement in breaking up the championship team by not hiring back key personnel such as Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan. He hired Jordan as a baseball player during his sabbatical from basketball. He also moved the Bulls from Chicago Stadium to the United Center. This ring is a salesman's sample and practically identical to the one presented to Bulls owner and Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf after winning the 199-1997 NBA Championship. This size 10-1/2 ring is cast in yellow gold. The top of the ring is in the shape of the Chicago Bulls logo and is encrusted with several synthetic diamonds. On the right shank in relief is "World Champions Team Of The Decade" with arena rendition, "96 97" and enameled NBA logo. On the left shank in relief is the name "Reinsdorf" and "Chmn" with five raised basketballs and nets. On the inside of the ring is stamped "14K." The ring shows light wear and is in EXMT-NRMT condition.
