A first ballot Hall of Fame inductee in 2003, Eddie Murray won the 1977 American League Rookie of the Year award and hit five hundred home runs. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturers tag size “48” with washing instructions. Attached is a flag tag reading “100% POLYESTER”. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading the year “95”. On the left sleeve is an Indians team logo patch. Across the chest reads “Cleveland” in script style writing done in red on navy blue on white tackle twill. Across the back is the player number “33”. Above this on a grey nameplate is the player name “MURRAY”. These are done in red on navy blue tackle twill. Murray signed the front of the jersey in blue marker with the added inscription “504 HRs” and in our opinion the signature rates a 9. There is residue from previously being framed. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use with signs of prior framing. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
