After retiring from basketball in 1994, MJ spent the next year pursuing a childhood dream to play professional baseball. He signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox of the American League, reported to spring training, and was assigned to the minor league affiliate Birmingham Barons. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag with an attached flag tag reading the size “48”. On the left chest is the “SOX” team logo in white on black on silver tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the “125TH ANNIVERSARY” logo patch with a Majestic logo embroidered below. Across the back is the player number “45” in white on black on silver tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as player worn and shows wear.
