The 1994 season was historic for the Barons as former NBA superstar Michael Jordan switched sports and was assigned to the club on March 31. Jordan's popularity helped shatter the club's season attendance record (467,867). Jordan batted .202 with 3 homers and 51 RBI and stole a club-leading 30 bases as the team was covered by journalists from around the world. In the back collar is the “Wilson” manufacturers size 48 tag with wash instructions. Under this tag in the collar is the “2 Inch X-Length” tag. Across the front is “Barons” in white on black on grey tackle twill. Below on front and on back is the player number “45” in the same tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “White Sox” logo patch with the Wilson “W” logo below. Autographed on front in silver marker and rates a 9. The jersey is player issued and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA and UDA. Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from the Wilson representative who hand delivered Michael Jordan’s jerseys to him when he played for the Barons.
