In the 1994 season Ken Griffey Jr. won his first of four AL home run titles. He knocked 40 out of the park and finished second in the AL MVP voting. On the front left tail is a Russell Athletic size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached below are three tags that read “100% POLYESTER”, “2” EXTRA LENGTH” and “1994”. Across the chest reads “SEATTLE” in navy blue on teal on white triple tackle twill. Across the back reads player name “GRIFFEY”. Below is player number “24”. Both are done in the same navy blue on teal tackle twill. On the right sleeve is a “Russell Athletic” logo embroidered below a “125TH ANNIVERSARY” patch. On the left sleeve is a “SEATTLE MARINERS” logo disc patch. Griffey signed the back of the jersey beneath the numbers in blue ink and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA.
