Ken Griffey Jr. finished second in the American League MVP voting after a stellar season in 1994, belting a league-high 40 home runs, batting .323 with 90 RBI. Griffey Jr. is a first ballot National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, is a member of the MLB All-Century Team and has his No. 24 retired by the Seattle Mariners franchise. On the front left tail is the “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “46” manufacturer’s tag washing instructions. Attached below are three flag tags that read, “100% POLYESTER”, “2” EXTRA LENGTH” and “1994” respectively. Across the front reads “SEATTLE” in navy blue on northwest green on white triple tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “GRIFFEY” on a grey nameplate and below is the player number “24”. Both are done in the same navy blue on northwest green tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a team logo “SEATTLE MARINERS” disc patch embroidered and on the right sleeve is an embroidered patch that reads, “125th ANNIVERSARY”. Below is a Russell Athletic logo embroidered. Griffey signed the front right side of the jersey in pen and in our opinion, rates a 6 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
