Tony Gwynn was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 2007. One of the best and consistent hitters in MLB history, Gwynn won eight National League batting titles and never hit below .309 in any full season. Gwynn has his No. 19 retired by the San Diego Padres franchise. On the inside of the front left tail is a “Rawlings” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a flag tag that reads, “SET 1 1991”. Across the chest reads, “SAN DIEGO” and the player number “19” appears on the back and appears to have been mislaundered. These are done in navy blue on white on orange triple tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “GWYNN” in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. On the right sleeve reads, “Rawlings” in navy blue stitching. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
