On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached are two hanging flag tags that reads the size “44” and “DU”. On the left sleeve is the Wilson “W” logo sewn on. Across the front, the back, and on both shoulders is the player number “80” done in white tackle twill. On the back above the number is the player name “RICE” also done in white tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as game-used. Photos from football cards and Getty images show many variances on Rice's 1991 game jerseys. Although 1991 was the year that NFL gamers first used the league neck shield, photos show Rice in action wearing jerseys both with and without the NFL neck shield (this jersey does not have one). Likewise, Rice is shown both with and without a Wilson logo on the left sleeve (this jersey does not have one); both with and without elastic cuffs on his sleeves (this jersey does not have one) and with and without spandex side inserts (this jersey does not have them). A strong style match can be seen on Rice's 1992 Skybox Primetime prototype card (#00A). This jersey shows light to moderate wear, mainly in terms of noticeable puckering on the numbers on the NOB. Accompanied by a LOA from Dave Miedema.
