Hall of Famer Ron Francis retired from the NHL as the 4th all-time leading scorer in NHL history behind only Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier and Gordie Howe. He is 2nd on the all-time assists list trailing only the Great One in that category. His career totals are 549 goals, 1249 assists for 1798 points. Francis won 3-Stanley Cups, the first two coming with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Attached to the inside collar is the Maska “Ultrafil” manufacturer’s tag reading “100% POLYESTER”. The large “Penguin” team logo appears on front. The player number “9” appears on the back in yellow on white tackle twill. The player number also appears on both sleeves in black on white tackle twill. The player name “FRANCIS” appears across the back on a black nameplate in yellow tackle twill. There is a name change on the back due to the fact he was a midseason acquisition. The jersey was likely worn by two players that season. On the back right tail are the “CCM” and “NHL” embroidered logos. The fight strap is intact. Hockey related staining is present including board and stick marks. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
