James Worthy was a member of three NBA championship teams with the Los Angeles Lakers, was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003 and named a Top 50 All-Time player. On the front left tail is the MacGregor Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “40”. Above is a tag reading “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for LOS ANGELES LAKERS. Adjacent are two box tags reading the year “88” and “3” LB”. On the right inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials and washing instructions. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered and above is a black armband for Larry Fleisher, the former director of the NBA Players Association. Across the chest reads “LAKERS” and on the back is the player name “WORTHY”. These are done in yellow on white tackle twill. The player number “42” appears on the front and back in white on yellow tackle twill. Also included are a pair of Worthy’s clear game goggles with the head strap partially detached. You would be hard pressed to find a better Worthy gamer. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com confirming the match and grading the jersey a perfect 10.
