The 1989 NBA All-Star game was played at the Houston Astrodome and set a new attendance record for the series. Barkley recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds. Charles Barkley was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006 for his individual career and in 2010 for being a member of the 1992 USA men’s basketball Olympic “Dream Team”. He was also named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Embroidered on the left breast of this red mesh jersey is the NBA logo. Screened on the front in white and blue is an NBA logo and “NBA ALL-STAR”. Player number (34) is screened on the front/back and player name (BARKLEY) across the back - all done in white. This jersey is properly marked (sans tagging with outlines still visible), presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
