The American League MVP at two different positions ( SS 1982, OF 1989), Robin Yount collected 3,142 hits over his 20 year career and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1999. This Milwaukee Brewers road knit jersey was worn by Yount during the 1988 season. On the inside back tail is the "Rawlings" label with the size "42". Next to this is the flag tag that reads, "Set 1 1988". Below the Rawlings label is a gray patch with "88 Yount" done in blue Swiss embroidered stitch. Across the front of the jersey is the name "Milwaukee" in script style letters. The player number "19" appears on both the left breast and on the back of the shirt. All the letters and numbers are made of blue on gold tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a patch commemorating the death of Harvey Kuenn.
